Here is a beginner level craft for adults - old book earrings! Once you learn the basics from this class you can take your creativity in many different directions. In the class you will learn to personalize the dangle of your earrings and how to put jewelry materials together to make them into earrings. The materials are inexpensive and easy to attain. You may find yourself making earrings for yourself, as gifts, or even to sell.
We will have old book pages to make earrings from in class, but if you want to try something from a favorite book or poem, make a photocopy of the page and bring it with you. Remember, you’ll only get about a circular inch of text. VERY short quotes and tiny fonts are good.
About Sandy Briggs: I’ve been a crafter as long as I can remember and have been making jewelry for years. You might find me teaching a different class some other time. My favorite crafts and art to make are things we can use, not just look at.
