The Johnston Historical Society 2024 holiday open house will be at the Museum on Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.  The Museum, located in a turn of the century farm home, will be decorated for the holidays. Tours will be given, and coffee, cocoa, and cookies will be served. The Museum is in the Johnston Commons at 6161 Northglenn Drive, next to the Johnston Library and the Simpson barn.

The Johnston Public Library is also hosting a Quick Crafts: Holiday Cards event in the library Youth Services Area at that time. This is a drop-in program for kids, and no registration is necessary. This month's craft is a holiday card and a special trinket.
