Come to JPL on Tuesday, February 13 from 11:30am to 12:30pm for a Lunch and Learn with a community educator from the Alzheimer’s Association. This program teaches participants how to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.
Marcia Dicks is a volunteer community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, Iowa Chapter. Marcia became her mother’s caregiver when she was diagnosed with Dementia and through the caretaking journey, became passionate about spreading awareness to patients and caregivers about Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
