Celebrate National Poetry Month with local, self-published poet, Prince Harrison, Jr. He'll share his poetry journey and host a mini workshop to help you discover your inner poet. Tasty snacks will be served. For students in 8th grade and up. Registration appreciated.

Prince is a 20-year-old Des Moines resident and graduate of Johnston High School. He has self-published two books of poetry -- Asocial and The Coronation. He is also a finalist in this year's Iowa Poetry Association Poetry Slam. When he’s not writing, Prince spends his time playing basketball & video games.
