In the early stage of Alzheimer's disease, families face new questions as they adjust. This program provides practical answers to the questions that arise in the early stage including forming a care team, approaches to treatment, disclosing an Alzheimer's diagnosis, signs of stress in care partners, financial and legal considerations, and safety issues. Join Marcia Dicks, Volunteer Community Educator for Alzheimer’s Association of Iowa for a program full of science-based information about the early stage of Alzheimer's and what caregivers can do to support their loved one. Marcia Dicks is a volunteer community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, Iowa Chapter. Marcia became her mother’s caregiver when she was diagnosed with Dementia and through the caretaking journey, became passionate about spreading awareness to patients and caregivers about Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
