Join us for an informational program from author Linda Betsinger McCann about her newest book, Rosie the Riveters of Iowa. During WW2, Iowa had 55 businesses that used women to meet production of military needs in factories and shipyards; these women were called Rosie the Riveters. Linda interviewed 35 of Iowa's own Rosie the Riveters and will share their stories.

One of our state’s most prolific researchers, Linda McCann has traveled and spoken to hundreds of people about Iowa’s rich history. Books will be available to purchase for $20 after this program. Cash or check only, please.
