Join our Teen Advisory Board and make the library your space! Junior TAB is for kids in 6th and 7th grade. Members share ideas, plan events, provide valuable feedback, and have a say in what happens at the library. Want to join?

Game night just got better -- are you in? Each month, we’ll feature new tabletop games (think Sushi Go, Ticket to Ride, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, etc.) and show you how to play.

Beginners and experienced adventurers welcome! Bring a character or use one of our premade characters. We will meet monthly. 6th-12th grade. Registration required. This event is part of a combined series.

Join us for the 13th annual Kites on the Green festival at Johnston Commons Park on May 2, 2026. This family-fun event will be held in the green space near the Johnston Public Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
